Hello Jason,
Thanks for joining! This site is a little slow right now but that will change in three days when students come back to university. It just reopened yesterday after a major makeover.
I'm sure there are plenty of people out here who can give you advice about...
Seems like 3G is a big fad right now. You're not cool until you have 3G!
Hi Sally. The site is not really open but that's okay..it's good to hear from you. I'm glad you found a job! Good for you!
What about Disney? :)
Look around here and tell me if you think I should change anything before we open it up again.
Summer holiday is great. It's a break for everyone to relax.
I took a job as well. Facing the computer all day long and meeting some clients. It made me feel so great because I get to use English sometimes. What's more, it's a good chance to experience the society....
Yulia Babe
No, it's not
It's from a friend of mine
Most things you do just for entertainment can be considered as a "waste of time". This includes reading fiction books, go to cinema, listen to music and so on. You just choose the way you want to kill you time ;) Why not with video games?
Superman was cordial and invincible!
Even though I was cordial, I still couldn't get past the invincible guards that stood in my way at the palace.
I wouldn't believe it.
Hah,I admit it,but losing the game would not at all damp down my paasion for it.
Wow,seems u r a good majiang companion...Maybe we can go and play majiang someday WITHOUT anyone else's hints....
Can you see the above pic??That's a good way to learin to play majiang....
I can't figure out why you have teachphobia, because you've been teaching so well. I bet most of us,if not all, like you very much.:)
@Cara - Hmm. What is it about Guangxi drivers that makes them drive so poorly?
When I think of the bad driving in Guangdong, it kind of all makes sense. Too many business people here in a hurry to get somewhere...close that deal...sign that paper, etc.
But to be honest, I've never...
:) We students are good citizens who obey the traffic regulations. Though some people have poor aware of traffic rules, we must try our best to keep it in order.
@G-man - Actually, I haven't used a scooter here in months. Seriously. I have scooterphobia in China. I refuse to go anywhere on a scooter.
I also refuse to use motorcycle (or bicycle taxis). I would rather pay the extra money and take a regular taxi.
American roads are MUCH better...
@Ally - My biggest phobia? It's called teachaphobia. I have a fear of teaching. :)
But somehow I manage...!
U r right, too many people drive as if they are the only people on the road, they drive as fast as they could. I hate that. Only when they have accidents can they realize how precious and fragile life is.
once you drive in guangxi, you will be able to say, wow, driving in guangdong is much safer and enjoyable.drivers in guangxi consider themselves the boss of the road and maybe they even don't cherish their lives, just go wherever they want, ignoring any traffic rules(even in big cities).
I'm not saying that every driver in the UK is a good one, not at all, but the difference in driver behaviour between there and the driving that I see wherever I go in China is HUGE!! For all kinds of reasons (which I'm only just beginning to understand!) the roads in China are...
@Star- So what card games do young people mainly play? I know how to play bridge, but seems few people around me know about bridge, so sometimes i play it on computer game.
@Houston - Bridge is a game that mainly older people play in the U.S. They have big bridge tournaments...spend hours playing it!
@Sally - Cool pictures. Although I do have a question. Who is Yulia Babe? Is that your nickname? ;)
@Niki - So what are you saying???? :) Was your paper TAKEN from Baidu?
@Merissa - Come on, now...admit it. You love Majiang MORE when you're winning.
When I play Majiang, I must have a Chinese person standing behind me whispering directions :).
It's pretty popular up North...but Guangdong is different..too many other things to do...go to the beach,...
@Seven - Are you serious????? :)
