The most significant event in my history is my grandma's funeral. The feeling of losing your loved one was heartbroken and unforgettable. I came to realise how valuable lives are. Moreover, I learned to cherish things before they slip through my fingers, and cherish people before they bid ... |

I would choose sight. I think it's harder for a man to live without his sight. If I can't hear anything, at least I can still take care of myself, and I can see the expressions of others. |

That's so nice that you look up to your brother like that. I'm glad that you see him as a significant part of your life. You are a lucky sister. |

I remember my first week in Beijing like it was yesterday. Traveling to Beijing from the U.S. for the first time was probably one of the most significant events in my recent life. It was a unique experience for me because I wasn't with anyone. Just me. |

I'm glad you had a chance to play in the snow. Everyone should have that same chance. Did you enjoy skiing? One of my brothers almost died skiing the other day when he fell on his head. He had to go to the hospital. Fortunately, he is ok. |

True. My Grandma was ninety-something when she died and she was very hard of hearing (this means she couldn't hear very well). However, she was able to understand what we said by reading our lips. She was very good at this. |

I am not an expert on this matter but I think that if you lose your hearing from birth you may ever learn how to talk. If you lose it later in life, I think you can still use your voice although you may not sound completely normal. |

Blind people do often learn how to use their hearing to help them see. They say that blind people can hear 'much better' than people who can see because they really focus on using their sense of hearing to guide them. |
