We all have a history which starts with when we are born. When you look back on your life so far, what is the most important event in your history? Why do you feel it is important? Did it change your life somehow?

when i was a little girl and can't remember how old i was, i went swimming with my parents in a lake , that's an big and deep lake, with almost 10 metres depth. i didn't warm up and just put off my cloths and jumped. then there was something wrong with my swim ring , and i sank. i wasn't aware of what's going on and all around me is water. it's a stange feeling and i can still remember it. i struggled and struggled out from my instinct. then my father came and pull me out of water. i was safe and i felt like reborn and i love and cherish my life more from then on.

I think my answer is the college entrance exam.I have never dreamt that I would come to Zhuhai to start my college year. Once I did a careless mistake,I don't have the time to write down the answer from the paper to the answer sheet, then I failed in the exam. I cried all day during that days. How pity I felt for myself. The most important turning point I just lose it . Now our classmates in high school also began their lives. From their blog and QQ. I can find out their change. People may change a lot if they live under  different enviornment ..I don't know whether the result of the exam is good or bad for me , I must work hard to make me strong!

He was my deskmate when we were in middle school about 6 years ago.He was that kind of boys who were lazy, never doing any homework, always lingered on the Internet.I didn't like him at that time. I thought he was a bad guy, so I wasn' willing to get in touch with him.
Later, he began to work hard on his studies , I must say ,he did put a large effort in it. So things had changed , he surpassed everyone in our class at the end of the last semester, and entered the best class of the best high school in our hometwon, which shocked me very much...And now, he is in the key university in Guangzhou.
From then on , I was convinced deeply that one's potential is unlimted. The moment we waken it,we will make a great progress...and I will never underestimate every one around me.

It was when I was in the third grade that I went to the boarding school, which left an indelible imprint on my memory.
I don’t know whether it was a blessing or a curse. From this school, I learned to be independent and of course I saw more about the outside world, hence I knew what the reality was when I was just about seven. Life was cruel especially when you were far away from your home. You have to be stronger and follow your own way, otherwise, you will be a stooge and lose your bearings.
What I had experienced at the boarding school had moulded my view, my character and my life and still had great impact on me. It's really unforgettable.

When I was a middle school student,my parents had a fierce squabble.I was extremely scared at that time because they never had wrangled to such a extent before.I couldn't do anything useful to make them calm down.I was afraid that the brawl would give rise to a terrible result. After the quarrel, they just ignored each other.I took counsel with my friends and my grandmother, and they gave me good suggestions.I knew that children were the significant part of marriage. So I had a talk with them and told them what was my feelings about the matter. It was my brother and I who helped them restore good relations.I really think that family is a crucial part of my life, and I will never this remeical experience.

When I was a little girl,I sent to broading school and just back home every weekend.Broading Private school turned me a mean girl.I hated myself and my mother very much at  that time.Actually, maybe I was in teenagers treason time.Graduating from the rubbish school,I went to public school. It gave me a new surrounding that everybody work hard there. They seldome talked about your appearence, your familly. They are as pured as the angel,so kind so friendly.Hardly no tamptation outside.I changed my character there.Once an event change one's spirit, change the angle of your seeing sth, that's the most important event during my life.I never forgot the moment I found another bright world.

Actually,I felt disappointed and unhappy to come to this school originally because i was failed in the university entrance exam. It's the reason that i came to this university.
However,i recognize that i was wrong soon.because i make new friends here ,they are so considerate ,kind, helpful ,lovely and crazy......in addition, the environment in zhuhai is so delightful, food is delicious ...next besides, the teachers are good and all of us do so hard in our study.I don't want to waste my university time and actually we work hard.

second, once i was a saler who sells clothes.i was very frustrated when I received a 100RMB counterfeit money.it really gave me a lesson.

The most significant event in my history is my grandma's funeral. The feeling of losing your loved one was heartbroken and unforgettable. I came to realise how valuable lives are. Moreover, I learned to cherish  things before they slip through my fingers, and cherish people before they bid me goodbye.

What I first think of is my dear brother when the topic come into view.
My brother is just 3 years older than me. He is really a good brother. He has shared my whole life since I was born.Happy, sad, proud, frustrated,I have gone through all these feelings with my brother besides me. Whenever I need ,he will be there for me. What I want to say is: my dear brother ,I love you more than I can say. Thanks for all the things you've done for me. It's you who lead me into such a colorful, meaningful life. I will always love you~~

Before I  caught a  bad cold and sicked in bed during my 2010 Spring Festival, I went to Harbin , homestayed in my lovely roomate's house for several days.
I saw SNOW with my OWN EYES in the FIRST time, touched it with my own hands. It's fantastic...gorgeous...fabulous, amazing. I'm sooooooooo happy about finishing one of my tasks in my dreamlist. And I'm too clumsy to describe my excitement. I'd never been to a place at minus 29 degrees centigrade,or tried  Skiing .People in Harbin are very friendly and enthusiastic .Of course, my roomate's family gave me lots of lots of delicacy , various meat dishes in northern favour. Thus, when I came back,I even drank the bitter medicine with a stimulated nice mood while I thought of my trip in the snow world.
That's the most significant event in my history recently...haha

From Grade One at junior middle school on, I transferred to new classes or new schools constantly, which affected my study terribly.I transferred six classes and five schools from middle school to high school .It very hard at first.Fortunately,I have many good friends and many different experiences.Anyway,I've made great progress over the six years.
merissa Tue, 03/09/2010 - 23:11
Well, this topic reminds me of one of my ex-best friends. We met each other when i was in the last year of junior high school. We nourished our friendship for 4 years. Although it is not a long time, we went through a lot.Â
The turning point is a trip to Guangzhou.  Date back to 3 years ago, When we travelled to Guangzhou together,we had countless little squabbles during the supposed-to-be-happy trip. Then on the third night, pouring rain plus thunders and lightnings, i went away from the hotel with 2 handbags and a luggage. It was at about 20:00 that i set out. I transfered 2 times in the subway and took 2 buses !!!! That was the first time i had been in a completely strange city !! ALONE !!! Around 23:30 i saw my another intimate frined waiting for me at the bus stop, i burst out crying !
That's it. My terrrrrrrrrible experince. It also makes me understand that friendship is fragile and if u do have a good friend, please cherish him/her.

How could she do this to me.If she need money, I can borrow to her. I can't bear my friend cheat me. But finally, I forgive her. I used to wear a long hair since i was little.
It was really really LONGGGGGGGGGGGGG.
But when I graduate from middle school and enter my high school, there was a rule of the school that girls could not wear long hair for 3 years. My heart broke, you know, hair is always so important for girls.I cried for the whole night after my cutting.
However, when I look back on my life, i find it is an important turnoff point in my life. The first time I learned that we have to pay the price for our grown up.

I think the most significant event of my life is to be independent after leaving home.I have a big family--father, mother and two brothers . They help me a lot .In fact, to much! So I dependent too much on them, and CAN'T do a lot of things by myself.
And now , I am far away from home.I must learn to be independent. And I did! I can totally live independently! Though I miss my family very much, I am happyI am here , just by myself !

I think the most significant event of my life so far is the entrance examination for college. Since the achievements of the two previous simulated examinations do not qualified me into an undergraduate campus but a vocational college, I felt depressed and dejected several days before the final examination.
As you know, this examination is the first turning-point of a person’s whole life. Many students stepped into the society after this examination in that their scores were not enough to pursue their highly educations. For my part, I did want to pursue my education. So on the one day before the examination, I told myself to relax and kept a best condition to conquer it. No matter what the result will be, just try my best to get a high score.
Consequently I broke myself and entered the undergraduate university (Jilin university of zhuhai college).
That was really a turning-point of my life. It provided me a opportunity to further my education. Â

My middle school life gave a deep impression on my whole life. During that time, I came across one of my best friends. She taught me so much and gave me much care.Besides, I learnt to be independent.

I also remember my first year of teaching...in Mexico. I was not so self confident but after a few weeks I realized that I actually enjoyed what I was doing. My first experience teaching was definitely life changing for me.

I will always love you~~
Thank God! What a brother I've got! That's the most important event of my life. Â

I'm glad you had a chance to play in the snow. Everyone should have that same chance. Did you enjoy skiing?
One of my brothers almost died skiing the other day when he fell on his head. He had to go to the hospital. Fortunately, he is ok.
Thu, 03/11/2010 - 23:56
I enjoyed skiing very much. It's fresh and fun to me,and it's easier than I imagined.
Your brother is a lucky guy. There's an old Chinese saying with my poor translation: who survived in a big accident, will live a following happiness life.

The most significant event in my history is my first tour to Peking.I really enjoyed the journey cause I was there with my boy.He took me to Sanlitun,Houhai,Tian'an men square ,etc.We met many friends there and went to some concerts. That was really an unforgetable experience.
Wed, 03/10/2010 - 22:28
I remember my first week in Beijing like it was yesterday. Traveling to Beijing from the U.S. for the first time was probably one of the most significant events in my recent life.
It was a unique experience for me because I wasn't with anyone. Just me.
Tue, 03/09/2010 - 23:58
I think this is the most unforgetable event in my life.My parents were very sad.I wept in the whole day and from then I had learned that my relatives couldn't accompany me forever. The only thing I can do is to treasure every minute when I am with them togerther.
Tue, 03/09/2010 - 23:22
From Grade One at junior middle school on, I transferred to new classes or new schools constantly, which affected my study terribly.I transferred six classes and five schools from middle school to high school .It very hard at first.Fortunately,I have many good friends and many different experiences.Anyway,I've made great progress over the six years.
Tue, 03/09/2010 - 23:11
Tue, 03/09/2010 - 23:02
I dare to say each examination in China is a turning point,so not to mention how important the college entrance examination is.Nevertheless, the most significant event in my history is the separation of my close relative who I care so much.It always make me upset. But on the other hand,I become more independant, and cherishing everything I own now .
Tue, 03/09/2010 - 22:16
when i was a middle school student,i went to a English continuation class ,the teacher there is very good at teaching, she is so a strict teacher that everyone in her class study very hard ,so am i.so my English was improved and it make me more confident about my English.i realy appreciate my teacher.
Tue, 03/09/2010 - 21:54
In my first year of high school,my best friend cheated me. At that time, I thought I find my true friend. But finally, she got close to me for my money. I was so mad and sad. How could she do this to me.If she need money, I can borrow to her. I can't bear my friend cheat me. But finally, I forgive her. I think there is some hardship on her.Maybe at that time, she really really needed money.

Â
Tue, 03/09/2010 - 19:49
Thanks for posting that. Now I understand why so many girls in high school have short hair! I didn't know about that rule.
Did you save your hair as a memento? And will you ever let it grow out long again?
Wed, 03/10/2010 - 17:36
Yah,i saved it!! I saved a wisp of my long hair in a box, that sound a little bit wierd, right? Hah...I also saved all my tooth which I lost when i was little.
I'm working so hard to let it grow out again, but it grows so slowwwwww which is out of my expecting.
BTW, the page is pretty cool!! I and my roomates enjoy getting points!!HAHAhhhh

I think the most significant event of my life is meet my boyfriend .Before I know him ,I was shy and lack of confidence . He help me with the math and let me know I can do anything if I try my best.He change my life.
Tue, 03/09/2010 - 07:55
Right! Sometimes having a boyfriend can really push us out of our shell and help us to feel more confident about ourselves. It sounds like he is a great boyfriend!
Mon, 03/08/2010 - 22:37
If I have to select the most significan event in my life,so far,it would be one of the turning points in my life--graduated from high school and went to college. It meant that I have to begin a new life, face a new word, and get ready to enter the society.
Mon, 03/08/2010 - 22:17
The import, event in my life was when I began to live with my parents.
I think a complete family at least call for parents and child.
I love my parents who give me life.
Mon, 03/08/2010 - 22:11
when i was ten years old,i came to shenzhen to gather with my parents, from that time on ,I have formed a new value of the world ,because i came from a litter village ,i had never lived  in a big city and had never experiemced such a wonderful life.In shenzhen,I make different kinds of friends and deal with complicative problems by myself ,I become independent and never rely on my parents.so ,I think it is the most significant event that happened in my past tiime .
Tue, 03/09/2010 - 07:53
Thanks for sharing, May. I'm sure going to the big city was a little scary at first, right? But those kinds of experiences help us build inner confidence.
Mon, 03/08/2010 - 20:58
